Hi, I'm Michelle

I have been creating art for as long as I can remember—since the moment I could hold a pencil. For decades, art has been my best friend.
I grew up in Philadelphia and later earned my Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute in New York. It was there that I discovered my first love: watercolour. The challenge of harmonizing water and pigment has stayed in my heart — inspiring many paintings of landscapes, florals, and the shine of glass in still life.
My creative journey led me into the world of art direction, where I spent years developing storyboards, graphics, and television commercials focused on faces. Next, I followed a new calling of two decades as an art teacher, where I had the privilege of observing children closely — their glowing eyes, smiles, and unique expressions. Those moments became etched in my memory, like a living library of dreams.
Today, all of these experiences have set the stage for portraiture. I am inspired by the soul within the eyes — the story that makes each person unique.
Capturing that is not just my work; it is my passion and my purpose.
